This is my first blog post of the 2011-2012 school year.

• What is a Cyberbully?

-A cyberbully is a person who bullys you through the internet and they may be saying things about you or making you feel bad and uneasy by insulting you, they can embarrass you .

• What are the different types of cyberbullying?

- Some types of cyberbullying areGossiping, Pretending to be you, and They can Impersonate or threaten you .

• What do you do if you are being Cyberbullyed?

-You must tell trustworthy adult or someone you trust the most

• What are some reasons that people cyberbully others?

They do it because they may have been bullyed , embarrased, or put down by others.

-My team name is The Science Chatterboxes

-The name of my game is The Earth CHallenge.

What is it about?
-My game is about preventing global warming.

- We have completed the main menu, About page, Instructions page, level one and level two.

-We have completed the game

What can you do from now until Friday to get everything finshed and turned in?

What grade would you give yourself in Globaloria overall?
-I would give myself a 100

What are all of the things you have learned this year?
-I have learned how to blog, update a wiki, and make a game.

What are you proud of in Globaloria?
-I am proud of me being able to succed in many things that I did not think i could do.

-Making a more complicated game.

The game teaches you about civil rights, how you should be able to speak out when ever you have an opion to say, you should be able to vote notwithstanding your race, etc. 2.How does it teach about civics? I would create a game about global warming and how we can prevent it .If I could attach celebrity for my game it would be Chris Brown because I enjoy listening to his music and I think is a great person!. I would sell my game by posting it on television,the Internet,and on radio commercials and I am sure everyone would want to buy it because its Chris Brown! On the Internet and television, I would put how the game was made and how it is played.

What Does Japan Have To Look Forward To?

On March 11,2011, there was a 8.9 magnitude (while 9.0 magnitude is the strongest) earthquake and tsunami in Japan that took many insoccent young and old lives. It began as an earthquake and lead to a tsumami. Because Japan is on an island, the force of the earthquake caused the ocean floor to shake and the tsunami begun.Reviewing the terrible disaster Japan was very devastating. There are childern at a school in massachusetts are trying raise money to help Japan. If I could do anything in my will to help Japan, I would try to raise money and have a food drive.

Playstation Next Generatrion Portable
I think the new playstation device will be a huge sale for people because it is much more advanced and they have added many new features such as, a motion sensor on the back, front and rear cameras, two joy sticks and much more things that you never thought any device would have. I cound see myself buying this in the future.

1.What does the word "teamwork" mean to you?
-To me, team work means to help eachother to acheieve a common goal. It also means to not fight,argue and come up with ideas together as a team.
2.How do you see these students trying to work together?
-They are Helping eachother by working together, not playing or fooling around they talk about every single problem and work them out.
3.How important was teamwork for these students?
-It is very important because when you ball room dance, you must have a partner and there must be a lot of team work.
4.What do you think is the main message that these students should take away from this experience?
- I think the main message is that team work is very important because if you do not have any type of team work, you will not accomplish you goal.
5.How will you work together with your teammates in Globaloria?
- I will work with my team mates by sharing all my ideas,not arguing about who is right and who is wrong; I will just listen to everyone's opions.

Math Lines
Today I played this game called "Math Lines". To play this game you must aim and shoot the ball that adds up to ten with your bullet ball. You are able to pick a number 4 through 15 and when the game starts, the bullet ball will have a number on it.......for example: if you choose the number 10 and the bullet ball has the number 4 on it, you would shoot it to the number six because 6+4=10. There is a number line with bubbles with numbers on it that is twirling around you have to try and pop all the bubbles before all the bubbles reach the hole. As each level pass the time goes by faster and faster.

How Each Game Is Played:
Both games are played by using the arrow keys to move side to side and the space bar to jump up.
The Social Issue of Each Game Is:
The social issue of these games are that people are being cruel to animals. The are doing things such as killing them for their fur and poising them so they can grow faster for fast food.
How The Game Taught About The Issue:
On J Lo Fur Bully on The Block, you have to avoid getting captured by J Lo and you have to press space bar to save the animals and educate the maids. On Super Chick Sisters you have to avoid the spiders and save the chickens.

The Wizard

At the beginning of the movie, Jimmy is walking down the highway. Where is he going?
-He wants to go to California.
What is the problem that the little boy, Jimmy, has?
-He is sad by his sister death.
Jimmy likes to stack and build things. How does this relate to video games?
-In video games, you use strategy and puzzle and in building things.
Playing video games seems to help Jimmy feel better. Why do you think this is?
-I believe it is because when something tragic happens to people, they have a hobby to take the pain away. For example...drawing, reading, writing, eating, and playing video games.
What makes him such an awesome video game player?
-I am really not sure, maybe he is just naturally good or maybe when he builds things, it helps him practice and get better an better.
What kinds of games do you see being played? Have you ever played any games like this before?
-Arcade Games, Nintendo Game System, Double Dragon, F-1 Dream, Street Fighter, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Super Mario Brothers 3.
How many different game systems do you see in the film?
-In this video game I seen about 2 video games.
What did you think about the Power Glove?
-I thought that the power glove was pretty cool but it would probably be hard to use it while trying to focus on the game.

Crayon Physics

Today, our class watched a video about a game that is puzzle and strategy that involves physics. Physics is a type of science that you use each day, it is also math. In this game you basically have to design how you will make it to the next level.
I think this game is very interesting to play because you can use your imagination to figure out the way you are going to pass that level. If I could incorporate some of this game play into my own game play, I would use my own game topic and incorporate the way the other game did.

What I think about Google hosting an international Science Fair is that it was a very great idea because the people has never had an experience like this that is dealing with google. I think that students should join because they would receive a great opportunity on winning a scholarship for college.

Honestly I really wanted to be apart of this because I believe that this would be a excellent opportunity for myself to achieve my goals in the future, but I do not visualize myself in entering this contest because of my birthday is way past the due date.

I would create something that has to deal with the community and conserving electricity on our earth. Myself being able to compete with students and share my ideas with people all over the world would be very exciting!!
